I've been looking for a good axe for some time now. Came across axeman.ca. after much reading I decided on the 1 kg carpenter axe. The order shipped the same night I order it. Crazy. So it's been the best axe I've ever used. Perfect balance, perfect weight, perfect handle. I mostly trim trees and split small fire wood. I highly recommend AXEMAN.ca

I have been camping for the past five years, and have needed a small camping ax, but never pulled the trigger on one. I looked around, and I would feel and try out all the generic brands, and they never just felt right for me. This one PS perfect, and is a very special piece made at an actual Forge by blacksmiths whose initials are stent into the metal. Sure it cost more than twice the generic ones, but it feels 10 times more special. Treat yourself, you won’t regret it.

Definitely very impressed with this axe, it is lighter then my other axe. It holds a sharp edge for along time was able to cut up a dead faklen tree on a trail in no time. For me it is also the right size not too long at all.
