I find the service second to none. The jig is an integral part of the system for sharpening turning gouges. I am now able to easily replicate my grinds on the Tormek because of the multi jig.

Love this axe. Big chonky handle but, if you’ve watched any hults bruk reviews, you already know that. Took off a couple millimetres with a camp knife and it feels better. I still reach for the boy’s axe first but it’s nice to have a full size felling axe available when you need it. This is a nice one.

As a member of a provincial search and rescue team and an avid backpacker. I found the Åby Forest Axe to be an invaluable piece of equipment for back country search and rescue operations and an ideal companion for backpacking trips in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. This is a fantastic axe. I'm 5'7 and it is the perfect size. I have taken down small trees, 6-8 inches so far, with ease. It makes short work of limbing. And also very good for carving (making a log bench). And I'm just getting started. I couldn't be more pleased. And the customer service and shipping was top notch.
