Wicked awesome multi roll axe, big enough to do some hard work but yet small enough to lug around all day. Lightning fast shipping from Axeman and they even took the time to wrap each item I ordered in paper. More care was put into Axeman shipping my order than any other tool I've purchased online.
The 325 Anniversary Axe fits perfectly for a Day X getaway from the city, or away from most crowds, when SHTF occurs. It is beautifully designed for collectors of axes, I suppose. However for my purpose the contrast of colours is helpful, should it fall from my grip on a rainy day and into a mud puddle.
Loving this axe, it is my second carving axe and the size is perfect for what my carving interests are (green spoon carving). I will be ordering the large carving axe.
Gomboy makes the best saw blades, with a balance of lightness and strength. Nothing cuts like them. The 210 is a bit of an obscure size, but makes a perfect trail saw when you are trying to stay light, but still tackle windfall.
I’ve had Gomboys for several years now. The 240 and the 210 are the best balance of a compact trail saw and efficiency that I’ve come across. For trail work, or tree pruning, it can’t be beat. The blades hold their sharpness well, but ultimately, will need replacing. Thanks for caring spares!
