Much smoother then the leather wheel and thicker which makes it possible to hone my bent knives on the topside.

This is a fantastic axe. I'm 5'7 and it is the perfect size. I have taken down small trees, 6-8 inches so far, with ease. It makes short work of limbing. And also very good for carving (making a log bench). And I'm just getting started. I couldn't be more pleased. And the customer service and shipping was top notch.

The Axe is great, amazing product and obviously great craftsmanship however the real thing to rave about is this company’s customer service.
