I got this blade sharpness tester out of curiosity, to know just how sharp my new and old kitchen knives were. Cutting printer paper to see whether my knives were sharp was not discerning enough.
Later on I used it to determine the quality of my own sharpening work to see whether any burr is still left on the cutting edge or not. And this BESS tester helped me with that task.
It's a good instrument. I am glad it is available to us and I am glad to report that the customer service at the store is exceptionally good as well. Both the store and the instrument are highly recommended!
My wife purchased the ARVIKA axe for me on my birthday and I put it to great use. The axe feels great in your hands and splits wood like crazy! Strong, beautiful grain and the wax/oil finish is perfect. You can touch up the finish with more oil as needed.

Ordered the Hultafors large Montreal pattern axe handle and was pleased with the perfectly aligned and tight grain orientation, pre oiled handle, and excellent shipment speed from Axeman. Will be ordering from them again.

Was not able to find a handle that would work for my axe head. Hit these guys up on Chat, he walked me through how to measure and some good questions and picked the right handle that would work for me. Had never changed an axe handle before, had to modify it a bit to make it fit, it was a good experience. Happy with product and service I received. Will purchase for here again.
Works great for holding filings and cleaning water tray. I have a T-7 so it didn't have one.
I had an Axemate years ago on a homemade quad box and loved it. I haven’t seen them around anywhere and searched online for them; I found them at Axeman.ca and I bought both sizes as well as a new Fenix headlamp. Though I haven’t put this through its paces yet, I’m extremely satisfied with the balance and fine details in its construction. I bought it to be an all purpose saw in my kit and hope to put it to good use this year.
