Really nice quality axe. I also have a small Grandfors splitting axe, and this axe is very similar quality. I prefer the weight and functionality of this Canoe axe. It blends both splitting and clearing with ease. Great head design and I enjoy the hand feel of the handle right near the head, especially when splitting kindling. Price is very competitive.
The axe feels good in hand and works very well for both trail making and splitting some firewood at camp. Always good to find an axe that does both jobs very well.

The DF 200 is an excellent all around wheel. Was able to grind a primary bevel on my plane irons and chisels without an issue. Thinking I might get the extra fine wheel to grind the secondary bevel instead of a honing jig and Waterstones.

At age 60 I finally woke up to the fact that my chopping axe(s) are not splitting axes, and all of the axe work I do is splitting. I cut rounds with a saw, not an axe, and a splitting axe processes rounds into firewood and kindling. At 20 1/2 inches length, the Hultafors splitting hatchet hits a sweet spot for canoe camping and car camping. Highly recommended.
Purchased the PT50B Edge-On-Up Sharpness Tester and extra test media canister and based on my use so far (1 week), it's an excellent product. There's lots of test media that comes with the Tester, so I didn't really need to buy the extra can now. The service from Axeman was excellent, the price was fair and shipping was flawless.
