A small axe for outdoor use in forests and open land. Made from blasted and clear-lacquered ironwork, it is also suitable for work in the garden. The shaft is curved and made from hickory. An edge protector is included.

My two 15” Hultafors arrived today. As always Hultafors craftsmanship is superb. I intend to use these two for throwing. I have three other Hultafors in different sizes I’ve been using for 10 plus years . Their quality is the best. Also, I found Axeman very easy to purchase from and shipping was super fast. Hatchet is awesome!! Bought the hatchet for Christmas for my brother. He is a carpenter who’s got a load of knives so I thought he’d appreciate something different. He loved It! I was very happy with the quality of the blade and the hickory handle. Customer service and shipping to Hawaii was outstanding. I was so happy with the purchase. My son bought me the same hatchet and I will use it and keep it to pass on once I’m gone! I like to support small family owned businesses like Axeman.
