An axe suitable for small-scale felling, made from blasted and clear-lacquered ironwork. The shaft is curved and made from hickory.

Note: Leather sheath NOT INCLUDED unless selected.

The axe is hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods in use since 1697.

  • The steel is struck several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe.
  • Has a clear tempered zone within which the axe can be sharpened whilst not detracting from the strength of the edge.
  • The shaft is made from hickory and treated with linseed oil.
  • Weight: 900 g
  • Shaft length: 650 mm (26")

I received my axe right before leaving for work so I didn't get too much time to really appreciate it. But to be honest I was impressed with how it was packaged, sometimes we get things, open the box and find a mess, not the case here. I enjoyed getting the axeman sticker too! The axe handle is very nice, seems solid, the grain orientation is good, very nice axe head and sheath. I will be buying from you guys again and definitely sharing my good experience with friends. Thank you!
