I bought a second one because I loved the first one so much. I like the solid durable feeling of the lantern, and the red light is very useful for nighttime illumination. I like the fully adjustable colour temperature and light intensity as well. It's super useful.

I have been splitting wood for both wood stoves and backyard bonfires for a number of years. Recently I discovered a couple of YouTube channels that really bring a focus to the enjoyable side of this activity. In short, it's all about the axe. Having watched Buckin Billy Ray Smith run through some of the axes he is most impressed with I found Hultafors.
I purchased the Hult Splitting Axe and it is a really enjoyable axe to use. Great weight, amazing craftsmanship, and a perfect blade geometry (excuse me for borrowing some tech tips). It never binds, even in stringy/knotty wood which makes it so nice to use. I have used it on cedar, cherry, oak, and birch. All of which are now so easy to manage. Enough said. Great exercise, very productive and enjoyable!

Hult Splitting Axe 1.5 kg premium. Le tayant n’est pas bien large mais son design fait en sorte qu’elle ne reste pas solidement pris dans les bûches. Dans l’ensemble demande moins d’effort pour refendre du bouleau bien sec que ma X25 et de ma ha he a refendre Stihl. Par contre pas l’idéale pour les plus grosses bûche.
