An axe suitable for small-scale felling, made from blasted and clear-lacquered ironwork. The shaft is curved and made from hickory.

NOTE: Leather sheath NOT INCLUDED unless selected.

The axe is hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods in use since 1697.
The steel is struck several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe.
Has a clear tempered zone within which the axe can be sharpened whilst not detracting from the strength of the edge.
The shaft is made from hickory and treated with linseed oil.

It’s a great axe

This is really the first quality axe I have ever purchased. Sure we’ve all run the good ol yard works axes from Canadian Tire, I’ve even sprung for a fiskars when it was on sale there…big spender. This Hultafors blows the doors off any of those. Everything about it is top notch. I’ve run this axe while hunting and I’m more than impressed. The weight, quality, sharpness is just of the best quality. Worth every penny. Anything outdoors I do this axe comes with me. I’ll have this axe forever.
