    Great saw

Hi. Great saw and great service on getting back to a question right away.
Just had a bit of a glitch with my credit card paying online. Had to try 3 times. Twice with my card and once with my Wife’s. Seemed to have worked itself out and only charged my card once, so that was good. Maybe just a quick glitch that day? Overall great experience. Thanks

    Frequently Asked Questions about Saws?

Selecting the right saw depends on the type of work you plan to perform:

    • Pruning: Choose a saw with a curved blade, such as an Arborist Saw, for efficient cutting of branches.
    • General Woodworking: A straight-blade Hand Saw offers versatility and precision.
    • Specialty Cutting: Silky Saws are perfect for intricate cuts and fine woodworking tasks.

Yes, we carry a variety of replacement blades and saw accessories, including sharpening tools and protective sheaths.

To ensure your saw remains sharp and efficient:

    • Clean the blade after each use to prevent rust.
    • Sharpen regularly using a suitable sharpening tool.
    • Store in a dry place to avoid moisture damage to the blade and handle

For cutting green wood or live branches, Arborist Saws with a curved blade are ideal as they allow for smooth and efficient cuts on fresh, softer wood. Their aggressive tooth design helps minimize resistance.

Pruning saws, like Arborist Saws, have curved blades and larger teeth to cut through tree branches quickly, while regular hand saws are designed with straight blades and finer teeth for precision cuts in wood and carpentry projects.

Signs that your saw needs sharpening include:

    • Difficulty making clean cuts
    • The saw frequently getting stuck in the material
    • Noticeable dulling of the blade teeth
