A real saw

Very efficient and rapid, it' s a must have for every outdoors man/woman. The sheath is a bit too large considering the size of the blade but very well made with a lot of place to slide strap for holding on a pack or other.
Bye!

This Silky ZUBAT 390 saw is amazing! Do yourself a favour and get a pistol grip Silky saw, if like me you have wrist or tendon issues this is the ONLY way to go. The ergonomics make it so you can cut through even the largest logs without effort, conserving your energy and saving your body from pain and fatigue.

The quality is second to none, especially impressed with the sheath with detachable belt clip and excellent kydex friction retention built in. This is a bow saw market share killer, will never use anything but a Silky pistol grip saw again.

Jeremy at AXEMAN went out of his way on a weekend to help me make changes to my order and it shipped same day so I received the saw 3 days later, top notch service I will be back for more!

Yes, we carry a variety of replacement blades and saw accessories, including sharpening tools and protective sheaths.

  • Clean the blade after each use to prevent rust.
  • Sharpen regularly using a suitable sharpening tool.
  • Store in a dry place to avoid moisture damage to the blade and handle

For cutting green wood or live branches, Arborist Saws with a curved blade are ideal as they allow for smooth and efficient cuts on fresh, softer wood. Their aggressive tooth design helps minimize resistance.

Pruning saws, like Arborist Saws, have curved blades and larger teeth to cut through tree branches quickly, while regular hand saws are designed with straight blades and finer teeth for precision cuts in wood and carpentry projects.

Signs that your saw needs sharpening include:

  • Difficulty making clean cuts
  • The saw frequently getting stuck in the material
  • Noticeable dulling of the blade teeth
