Classic Design: Featuring a Yankee pattern head with a gross weight of 600 g (21 ounces), this axe captures the essence of traditional designs. The Yankee and Montreal patterns, along with hickory handles, were introduced to Sweden by ironmaster Ekelund in the 1870s. These patterns have become some of our most cherished and popular models over time.
Premium Forging: Hand-forged from Swedish recycled and CO2 neutrally produced carbon steel, the axe’s head showcases superior quality and durability. The bit is finished with a premium grind, ensuring exceptional sharpness and performance.
Elegant Finishes: The axe’s green color is inspired by Swedish Agdor axes from the mid-20th century, while the red handle echoes features from Agdor models of the latter half of the century. The label and handle shape draw from Hults Bruk’s oldest documented axes, found in a catalogue from the 1890s.
Sustainable Craftsmanship: The hickory handle is treated with linseed oil for durability, and the axe comes with a sustainably sourced leather sheath made from vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather.
