For an axe made in Germany I would have expected a better quality finish on the axe head. I am also not to happy about the grain in the middle of the handle. The handle fitment to the head is very good. I guess I just expected more for the price.
I actually have no idea what the axe is like. My son-in-law wanted it for his birthday. I ordered it, wrapped it in an unconventional way, gave it to him and he seemed to be pleased. That’s pretty much it.
