• Flathead design with tapered wedge blade — Serves as a starter wedge, captures progress while forcing doors, and allows efficient chopping, battering, or prying.

• Extended poll for balance — The extended poll offsets the head weight so the center of gravity rests in the eye/handle, improving control and reducing fatigue. Balanced to lay flat in an open hand, preventing blade drop or flutter on sideways swings.

• Hand-sharpened cutting edge — Approximately 5″ in overall length; top of head is flat to stand upright for easy storage or display.

• Tempered to exceed ANSI standards — Bit hardness is Rc 48–55 for 1-1/4″ back from the cutting edge, exceeding the Rc 45–60 ANSI minimum. Poll and eye walls remain in as-forged condition for shock resistance.
