Enables older machine models to use the universal support
The USS-2 Mounting Kit for Universal Support upgrades older Tormek machines by allowing the use of the universal support. It enables the use of tormek's newest jigs and allows sharpening in the vertical position. Designed to upgrade older machines without the universal support, it modernizes the machine, bringing it closer to the functionality of the latest Tormek machines.
The USS-2 Mounting Kit for Universal Support expands compatibility with most of Tormek’s jigs and accessories. It allows older machines to mount the US-105 Universal Support in the vertical position, enabling sharpening edge leading with jigs. For full compatibility and sharpening edge trailing in the horizontal position, the XB-100 Horizontal Base is also required. With this setup, older Tormek machines gain the same sharpening options as modern Tormek machines.
There is an included instruction that tells you exactly where to drill the holes in the housing for the mounting kit. Secure the mounts using the provided locking screws, and voilà – your machine is now ready to use with a universal support for precision sharpening!
