The Composite Honing Wheel is suitable to use in clean environments since there's no need to add honing compound.
Moisten the composite honing wheel with some water for a smoother honing. Use a sponge or cloth.
First have to say customer service is first class on the honing wheel I like the idea of not having to paste and getting good results still use paste on profile wheels but honing wheel will pay off in long run.
Complement to the leather honing wheel, the composite one is another to have. I thought it would be more rubbery like a tire, but it’s more foamy that I expected. Needs to do more testing with it to compare the capacity to quickly remove burrs.
Looking forward to some real reviews, pros and cons on the composite wheel by users. Yes, Axeman is a very reputable supplier, that is most every purchasers opinion, mine included.
