The Canoe Axe is designed with a great deal of utility in mind, whether traversing the waters or when out in the backcountry on foot. For fire-making, it is the perfect companion for producing kindling as well as for harvesting and spitting wood. Additionally, it is portable enough to be an all-purpose tool in the backcountry when clearing a way or keeping a trail or bank access open. The Canoe Axe is delivered with a leather sheath which is made in Lithuania.

Axman fantastic store but…

Bought Adler canoe axe, it’s an ok axe , good balance but the sharpness when arrived was terrible, couldn’t cut anything and the clear coat was all chunky for some reason.
I will sharpen the axe and see .
I’m normally buying Gransfor bruk and they are completely at a higher level. Taught this German company was at par with Gransfor but no they are not. Lesson learnt.Axman delivered this axe extremely fast .

Great quality, perfect balance of weight and function.

Really nice quality axe. I also have a small Grandfors splitting axe, and this axe is very similar quality. I prefer the weight and functionality of this Canoe axe. It blends both splitting and clearing with ease. Great head design and I enjoy the hand feel of the handle right near the head, especially when splitting kindling. Price is very competitive.
