Wildfire Protection Kit Premium

CFP-4001

Protect Your Home or Cabin Before the Embers Arrive

When a wildfire is on the move, embers travel kilometers ahead of the flames and land on the one thing you care about most: your home. The Home & Cottage Fire Protection Kit puts a complete, ready-to-deploy sprinkler and hose system in one high visibility carrying case, so you can wet down your roof, walls, and surrounding ground before you evacuate, or knock down a spot fire while it is still small.

This is the same style of structure protection setup wildfire crews stage around threatened buildings, scaled for homeowners, cottage owners, and rural properties. Everything connects with standard garden hose thread fittings, so it runs off your outdoor taps or a portable pump with no special plumbing.

What's in the Kit

  • 4 Metal Impulse Sprinklers On Sleds, covering up to 5,800 square feet combined. Set them on the roof, deck, or perimeter and let them soak everything embers love to land on
  • 3 single-jacket 5/8" x 25ft Yellow Treated Wildland Hoses  with garden hose thread couplings. Lightweight, compact, and far more capable than a garden hose
  • 2 single-jacket 5/8" x 50ft Yellow Treated Wildland Hoses with garden hose thread couplings. Lightweight, compact, and far more capable than a garden hose
  • 2 Serpent Striker Brass Wildfire Nozzles for direct attack on spot fires and hot spots
  • 1 GHT Mini Fog Nozzle
  • 1 Full-Flow Green Poly 4 Way Valved GHT Manifold to run multiple lines from a single water source and control each one independently
  • 1 150BR FNPSH x GHT Brass Solid Adapter for fire pump option
  • High visibility yellow carrying case that keeps the whole system together, ready to grab when an evacuation alert is issued

Why We Carry It

As a first responder owned shop here in BC, we have watched this fire season up close, and the lesson repeats every year: the homes that survive are the ones that were prepared before the fire arrived. Most structures lost to wildfire ignite from ember cast, not the fire front itself. A soaked roof, wet gutters, and damp ground in the first ten meters give those embers nowhere to take hold.

Set up takes minutes once you have practiced it. Our advice: unbox it this weekend, run every line once, and mark your sprinkler positions. When an alert comes, you deploy, turn the water on, and leave. This kit is a preventative measure, not a guarantee, and it is never a reason to stay behind when an evacuation order is issued.

Pairs Well With

Round out your structure protection plan with a Scotty Firefighter backpack pump for mobile spot fire response, a Council Tool Pulaski for building fireline and clearing fuels, and the rest of our wildfire gear collection. Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit need special plumbing or fittings?

No. All connections use standard garden hose thread, so the system runs off ordinary outdoor taps, a water tank, or a portable pump.

How much area does the kit cover?

The four impact sprinklers cover up to 5,800 square feet combined, enough to wet down the roof and immediate perimeter of most homes and cabins.

Can I use this during a wildfire evacuation?

The kit is designed to be deployed before you leave. Set the sprinklers, open the valves, and evacuate when ordered. Never stay behind to operate equipment during an active wildfire.

Is this suitable for a cottage or off-grid cabin?

Yes. Paired with a water source such as a lake pump or storage tank, it is an excellent fit for seasonal and off-grid properties where fire crews may be far away.
