The Gränsfors American Felling curved axe handle fits the Gränsfors Bruk American Felling (SKU 434-1), and has an installed length of 32". Like all Gränsfors handles, the wood is turned from seasoned hickory, then soaked in hot linseed oil, and finally tumbled in bee's wax.
The handle includes a wooden wedge.

The handle has an ergonomic design that gives a firm and comfortable grip.
The majority of the handles are made of the wood type Hickory which is strong and flexible. Some individual models are from copper beech.
The shafts are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts.
All our shafts except the Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are delivered together with a wooden wedge and a three-legged iron wedge.
The Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are only delivered together with a wooden wedge, as these handles have a high risk of cracking if an iron wedge is driven in.
