It is equipped with a perfectly-balanced uniquely-shaped low angle curve (2,000 mm radius of the blade), hard chrome-plated blade. The low angle curve enables cutting branches smoothly and incredibly fast. Features extra large teeth (5.5 tpi).
Long well-balanced taper-ground blade with impulse-hardened non-set tooth design provides extended working reach, faster cutting and handles large limbs and small trunks with no effort. The non-slip two-handed rubberized cushioned handle provides a sure and comfortable grip even in the most difficult operating conditions. I heard all the hype about Silky Saws and had to get one myself. It did not disappoint! I had pretty high expectations and was still impressed. I cut through this 6” log in about 1 minute. And that wasn’t going all out. I was just cutting at a steady pace. This Silky Big Boy cuts wood like butter. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend it for anyone that is into bushcraft or just needs to cut some wood into workable pieces.

Really a step up from anything else out there. Oozes quality and rips through any type of wood. Stopped bringing a chainsaw in the side-by-side. The big boy does anything up to 6-8” no prob.
